This is an open call for all witches, wizards, warlocks, priests, priestesses, WoW players, and voodoo shaman to come forth and claim the responsibility for placing a curse on #1 teams. Since last season it has become nigh impossible to hold on to the #1 spot in the polls. Starting with LSU last year, who reached #1 twice, lost both times, and was still able to claim the top spot at the end of the year. Then Georgia started the season #1, won convincingly, and still fell from the top spot. The USC lost to Oregon State, Oklahoma lost to Texas, and now Texas has lost to Texas Tech. Alabama is now #1, and in true cyclic fashion, they play LSU this week. The top spot is cursed.
